For years our faithful POR-15 customers asked for a primer they could paint over cured POR-15. Our chemists tackled the problem by developing a unique high-build polyurethane primer with tremendous interlocking adhesion qualities. Now you can easily paint right over top of POR-15 with any type
or color of paint that you choose, without any need to rough up or de-gloss the surface.
However, POR-15 is also a very superior primer for any type of paint. It’s a tough yet sandable single-component primer containing over 60% solids, which is more than double conventional primers. This provides superior leveling
characteristics, to help overcome surface irregularities. POR-15 is highly resistant to penetrating topcoats, like lacquers, enamels, and two-component finishes. Compatible with all paint systems and bake ovens. Sands very smoothly,
