Until now transparent lacquers and enamels would last a few days and then chip, flake and even peel off. Chrome and reflective surfaces are simply too slick for paint to adhere to... until now. The people famous for their POR-15 paints have achieved what was impossible before. ColorChrome has unique qualities that will allow it to stick to chrome, polished stainless steel, polished aluminum, or any other mirror-like finish... even glass.
You can darken and shade color easily by applying more coats in different areas. You can create blends to transition one color to another - gold into blue or green or red, and you can mix colors together to achieve even more hues.
COLORCHROMEŽ is an exciting new transparent color-coating system for polished metals. Beautiful, transparent colors can be applied permanently intricate patterns may be achieved by layering one or several colors over others. For best results a spray gun is required.
COLORCHROMEŽ works by changing the color of the light traveling through it while remaining transparent enough to maintain the reflective characteristic of the underlying surface. While a highly reflective surface is important, even a moderately reflective surface will yield excellent results. You can easily blend one color into another (gold transitioning into blue or green or red) you can even mix colors together to achieve even more hues or shades.
