After we had tried some of the big national brands, we were disappointed with the way they seemed to fade away so quickly, and in no time at all, we had to reapply the stuff. Also, it seemed to attract dust. Our chemists told us that this was partly because the big companies reduce the amount of solids in their products to save costs, and partly because they use alcohol and other solvents. We decided to make our own premium quality product, in the style and tradition of all other RestoMotive Laboratories Products, with more solids, and NO alcohol or solvents which can remove vital plasticizers, and lower the life expectancy from vinyl and rubber. Our special combination of premium chemicals turned into a terrific product, which we call BOSS GLOSS. We were delighted to learn that, as a side effect, BOSS GLOSS seems to repel dust too!

My name is Tom Slutsker and I am the CEO of POR-15, Inc. I'm also the inventor of POR-15 Rust Preventive Paint. The Standard of the World in rust preventive coatings.

We never talk about our competition; we let our products speak for themselves, but recent statements by others have said: "...the developer of POR-15 is now with our company, and has improved on the original POR-15 formulas." This is untrue, obviosly; most of my workday is spent developing new products or improving existing ones for POR-15, Inc. We're flattered our competition believes we make the best rust preventive paint in the world. We do.

Currently we are challanged by the rising cost of chemicals... the ones used to make POR-15. Our costs have risen due to rising oil prices, and just as you've felt it at the pump and at the supermarket, we've felt it in our factories. But all news isn't gloomy. Though we've increased the price of POR-15, we're making bold moves to keep our prices low as possiable. Other paints claiming to stop rust cost less because they use cheap fillers and ingredients that lower quality. As The Standard of the World in rust preventive coatings, we cannot, and will not, compromise our product or reputation.
